Welcome to our sweet cottage home in New Albany, IN! The home is 7 minutes from Louisville and being so close to the bridge makes it a very easy commute! The neighborhood is quiet which makes for an even more relaxing stay. Downtown New Albany is 3 minutes from the home and is full of good food and good local shopping! We hope you book our home and enjoy its character and coziness!

-walk in shower/toilet in bathroom that is attached the a bedroom(full disclosure this bathroom is old and covered in tile which is starting to show it’s age. We will be remodeling this bathroom soon. Just want guests to be aware it appears dirty but we do thoroughly clean it between guests.)
Basement has a washer and dryer/detergent/dryer sheets that guests are welcome to use.
The backyard has a fire-pit(4 chairs) and a covered porch that are able to be used by guests. We ask that you provide the wood for the Fire-pit!
Garage is off limits.
During your stay you will have access to the whole house. This includes the basement but guests are only allowed to use washer and dryer in basement. Please do not touch anything else in basement.
The attic is off limits. Closet at the top of the stairs is off limits. Garage is off limits.
We have contactless check-in and do not live on the property but we are available if you need anything at all! We only live 15 minutes away.
Neighborhood is quiet and nice and is close to so many great things!
The main hospital/ER is less than 1 minute away. Target, Kroger and Dollar Store are 1 minute away. There are many fast food options that are 1-2 minutes away. Downtown New Albany is very close to the home and is full of local shops, coffee and food.
The River front is 5 minutes away and has a playground for kids and a really nice walking path along the river that we go to often. It’s beautiful!
We are always happy to provide guests with our favorite places to eat, favorite parks and favorite coffee!
Our family owns a local coffee shop called Kolkin Coffee! If you love coffee please stop by and enjoy the cozy atmosphere and locally roasted coffee!
There is a gravel area in front of the house that can fit 3 regular sized sedans. We also have a gravel driveway behind the garage and is accessed by the alley. 1 car can be parked there and enter through the gate to the backyard.
We have a Ring Doorbell with a camera on the front porch ONLY. This is for security purposes since we do not live in the home full time. If the ring doorbell is tampered with or disconnected by guest they will be asked to leave with no refund.
Quiet hours are between 11pm-8am. Please take shoes off at the door. No access to garage($100 fine). No smoking or vaping if any kind inside the home smoking is only allowed in the gravel driveway($100 fine if smoking anywhere but the gravel driveway). No drug use($200 fine). No parties or additional guests that aren’t on the reservation($200 fine). No pets allowed in the home($200 fine). No tampering/unplugging Ring doorbell or wifi($200 fine). If there are stains on sheets/comforters that we are not able to get out because something was spilled on them you will be charged to replace those items. If towels are stained with makeup you will be charged to replace them. We leave black wash cloths for makeup removal!
