Positive: Location was close to main hotel for rides and meals

Negative: Bait and switch reservations…ad never mentioned that specific two-story condos were the ONLY pet-friendly accommodations. What I initially booked and PAID FOR was NOT what we received. A follow-up email seemed odd to me, so I made a phone call. Nan who returned my call never sent me a photo of our room(s(. Now I know why…second floor digs with a steep flight of steps to both br’s; no washer/dryer. Hotel staff was able to move another reservation and move us at least to a ground floor unit. We traveled w two dachshunds who CANNOT do stairs. Manager gave us her card for future bookings at the resort. We will NEVER use Booking.Com again. By the grace of God neither of us was injured dealing with the steps.

Summary: Horseshoe Bay and staff were lovely.
